I love this song. Basically, it's saying that when I'm talking to God, I get so caught up in His love I get lost. But then, when I'm lost in God's love, that's where I find my true self. God's love is so great and powerful that's it's sometimes scary to think about. But at the same time, when I think about it, I feel comforted in knowing someone so much bigger than me and my problems is on my side, cheering me on every step of the way.

Wow. Even though we are sinners - by default, not choice - God still loves us and sent us the best gift ever - His Son to die for our sins. I mean, we all love someone. Let's use your sister. Do you love your sister enough that you would live a life of pain, torture, and prosecution for them to live better? I know I wouldn't. Would you give up your life to save hers - and by give up your life, I mean by the worst possible terms. Definitely not! This is what makes us sinners. This is what separates us from God. But don't worry! Jesus's self-sacrifice (literally) breaks that brick wall between us and God, allowing us a way into heaven and eternal life with our Father. Do I hear a HUGE amen??

Sorry about quoting you to death today, but I'm in a quote-y mood. Anyway, this song is awesome. Even though these lyrics are simple, it's amazing because of who it comes from. NeverShoutNever is a guy who has a good voice and cute songs. However, most of them cuss a lot and have not-too-super meanings. I think the only reason I like his music is because of this song. It's the song where he comes out and admits his love for the Lord. How beautiful is that?!
